HOLIDAY INN MANCHESTER AIRPORT
- Unique Turkish restaurant launches inside the brand-new Holiday Inn site

Manchester, UK – May, 2023: Embark on a new culinary adventure with the newly opened Firin, a modern Turkish restaurant, bringing a taste of the Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to jet setters and locals alike in Manchester.
Located inside the brand-new Holiday Inn Manchester Airport, an IHG Hotel & Resort, situated within bustling Terminal 2, food enthusiasts from the city and visitors from all around the world can experience Firin's elevated take on classic tastes of the Mediterranean.
The Turkish word firin translates as oven, and this implication of baked-in warmth flows throughout the Firin Menu. The star is Pide (pee-deh), a flatbread which is worked by hand to give a boat-like shape. Firin offers the finest toppings for it's Pide, from the rich in flavour “Pide develi” of diced beef, tomato & pepper to the creamy “Birsen alcela” mushroom & goat's cheese – perfect for sharing or to indulge on their own. The menu is augmented with authentic Ottoman dishes and sharing plates such as lentil soup, Choban Salad, grilled Ottoman classics that are the Chicken Shish, succulent Lamb Tandir, and the Chargrilled Mediterranean Prawns and Calamari.
For the true holiday feel, tuck into the Meze menu and share a bottle of fruity Turkish wine, such as the Anycrya Red – a blend of dark forest fruits and spicy aromas. Top off the dining experience with a pick of sweet dishes, from Pistachio Baklava to Kunufe, a sweet cheese pastry, alongside a serving of warming Turkish coffee.
Firin embodies a modern vision of the traditional Istanbul salon. The laid-back luxury interior is centered around the theatre kitchen - boasting an impressive oven - where guests can watch the chefs at work.

We have worked to transform the restaurant space of the Airport's latest hotel destination with a unique experience taking inspiration from the region of Bosphorus to the markets of modern Istanbul.'
Plans to launch a beautiful rooftop bar Glow on the top floor of the hotel are underway, set to open later this year. With views of the city skyline, and planes taking off and landing, the one-of-a-kind venue will also be available for private function hire.
