New products from Fazer Bakeries: Ruisrieska rye flatbread by Reissumies and a special pastry to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Domino biscuits


This winter, eagerly awaited new bread products from Fazer include the Ruisrieska sourdough rye flatbread by Reissumies and the redeveloped Fazer Puikula Kaura oat portion bread. These are made from Finnish flours in Fazer’s bakery in Vantaa. Fazer Puikula Kaura oat bread comes from Fazer’s energy-efficient new portion bread line, which was completed in the autumn of 2022. In the spring, Domino will celebrate its 70th anniversary by introducing a special pastry. The winter and spring seasons are taking us closer to summer – enjoy the journey! Try our winter delicacies below.

 

Rye flatbread and oat bread baked energy-efficiently in Vantaa

Oululainen Reissumies Ruisrieska – rye flatbread 6 pcs 270 g

The newest addition to the Reissumies product family is a delicious sourdough wholegrain rye flatbread high in fibre. The flatbreads are made from Finnish flours in Fazer’s bakery in Vantaa. Ruisrieska has the Produced in Finland label. Lactose-free, dairy-free, high-fibre. Available in shops from 30 January 2023.

Fazer, the market leader* in oat bread, responded to increased demand by investing in a high-technology portion bread line, which reduces Fazer Bakeries’ CO2 emissions. Puikula portion bread is now baked in Vantaa more energy-efficiently. The delicious Puikula Kaura bread now contains 74% oats. The appearance of this redeveloped product reflects its more environmentally friendly baking process. Marked with the Produced in Finland label. Dairy-free, lactose-free, high-fibre. Fazer Gluteeniton Juustosämpylä – gluten-free cheese bread roll 3 pcs 215 g

This gluten-free soft bread roll can be enjoyed at breakfast or as a treat, and does not necessarily need any toppings thanks to its delicious cheese flavour. The bread rolls remain soft for a long time. Made in Fazer’s gluten-free bakery in Lahti. Marked with the Finnish Key Flag symbol. Domino 70 years – time to celebrate!

Domino, a classic brand, has been a consumer favourite since 1953. This year, Domino celebrates its 70th anniversary by introducing a special pastry. The Domino vanilla mousse pastry is a perfect combination of cocoa biscuit and vanilla filling. Available in shops from 30 January 2023.

Oululainen Pullava Appelsiinirahkapitko – orange and quark sweet loaf 400 g

With a fresh flavour of orange and quark, this sweet loaf is the perfect delicacy for the spring season. Made in Fazer’s bakery in Lahti. Marked with the Finnish Key Flag symbol. Low in lactose. Available in shops from 30 January to 22 April 2023.

Fazer Auringonpaiste (Sunshine) delights with its combination of refreshing mango and white chocolate that simply melts in the mouth. Its flavours and colours make it the perfect spring delicacy. Available in shops from 2 January to 22 April 2023.

Fazer Runebergintorttu – Runeberg’s tart 2 pcs 208 g

A traditional February favourite. Fazer Runeberg’s tart combines delightful flavours with a succulently delicious texture created from batter containing crushed almonds and rum for moistening. This delicacy is crowned with a raspberry jam topping. Contains raspberry jam. Available in shops from 2 January to 4 February 2023.

Fazer Gluteeniton Runebergintorttu – gluten-free Runeberg’s tart 2 pcs 155 g

A traditional seasonal product with a jam core and topping – now without almond, so that people with an almond allergy can also enjoy this delicacy. Fazer Runeberg’s tart is made using lactose-free butter at Fazer’s gluten-free bakery and is marked with the Finnish Key Flag symbol. Lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free.
