Top ten industries with the most sustainable B-Corps:
MoneyTransfers.com can reveal that the industry with the most sustainable businesses is Food & Beverage, with 495 out of the total 3,847 B-Corps analysed in this sector. This industry has the biggest share of certified businesses across half of the top 20 countries in the study. Ben & Jerry’s and Rude Health are a few examples of these certified B-corporations.
The industry with the second-highest number of sustainable B-Corps is IT Software & Services/Web Design with a total of 293 businesses.
In third place is “Other” with a total of 279 such businesses. Businesses in this category include crowdfunding platforms in Mexico, coworking spaces in Switzerland, and leadership development services in New Zealand.
The Home & Personal Care industry comes in fourth place with 223 B-Corp certified businesses listed in this sector. Not far off in fifth place is the Marketing & Communications Services with a total of 221 sustainable businesses.
