Kellanova reaches a milestone with its first Pringles plant in Mexico.
The new plant in Querétaro—Pringles' sixth worldwide—will create 1,300 direct and indirect jobs and expand production for Latin America.
Querétaro, June 12, 2025 – Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company) announced today the opening of its first Pringles production facility in Mexico, located in the state of Querétaro. This new facility joins the three cereal plants the company already operates in Querétaro, the State of Mexico, and Nuevo León, thus consolidating its fourth plant in the country.
The new plant represents Kellanova's largest strategic investment in Mexico in the last two decades and reaffirms its long-term commitment to the country. Over the past three years, the company has increased its investment in Mexico by 15% . With this, it projects a total of $660 million across all its operations by the end of 2025.
Strategically located in Querétaro, the new plant leverages the state's skilled talent and logistics infrastructure, as well as the 50-year legacy of the company's first plant in the country, to strengthen Kellanova's regional presence.
“This plant culminates three years of work to expand our capabilities in a country with which we share more than 90 years of history—and where we see a common future,” said Víctor Marroquín, president of Kellanova Latin America. “It brings us closer to our customers and consumers, not only geographically, but strategically.”
The plant will generate approximately 1,300 direct and indirect jobs and is on track to become Kellanova's first in Latin America to achieve gender parity. It will also work with domestic suppliers to source key raw materials.
With a surface area of 17,800 m², the facility will supply the Mexican market, as well as other key territories in the region.
Designed with a focus on sustainability, the plant aims to become Kellanova's first worldwide to operate on 90% renewable energy. The water used will be treated and recycled for irrigation, with no discharge into the municipal system.
This historic investment underscores Kellanova's focus on innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth, part of the company's overall purpose of creating Better Days for people and communities.
