Griselda Álvarez Regional Park: a natural and cultural gem of Colima is back.
This summer, Griselda Álvarez Ponce de León Regional Park reopens with a new look and many reasons to visit. Located in the heart of Colima, this iconic urban center offers an ideal space to reconnect with nature, enjoy family time, and explore a diverse array of cultural, artistic, and recreational activities.
Throughout the month of July, both admission to the park and all its activities will be completely free, making it one of the best options for enjoying the city's holiday season.
Amidst tree-lined trails, lakes, and gardens, the park offers painting workshops, crafts, dance performances, live music, storytelling, theater, science, and cultural activities for all ages. The children's area will delight children with mascots, a themed market, and a traveling insect museum.
The traditional boats on the artificial lake and family bikes are back, ready to create new memories for those who enjoyed them years ago, and for those experiencing them for the first time.
The Regional Park joins the tourist scene in the capital of Colima as a vibrant space full of possibilities, where locals and visitors can enjoy outdoor activities, relax in contact with nature, and experience unique experiences in a safe and family-friendly environment.
This summer, Colima invites you to rediscover one of its most enchanting places. Open daily, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit Colima, from the sea to the mountains!
